Silva Gunbardhi
Silva Gunbardhi (born November 2, 1981 in Vlora , Albania ) is an Albanian pop and folk singer who shpirt in her home country with the song Të ka lali, which she released in 2013 together with the two Albanian artists Mandi Nishtulla and Dafi Derti , got known.
Life
Gunbardhi was born in 1981 in Vlora, southern Albania, and grew up there. She was interested in music from a young age. When she was about six, she applied to a children's singing competition. In this competition, in which she had participated twice, Gunbardhi won third and second place respectively.
After graduating from school, she attended the University of Vlora and began teaching in the Faculty of Social Sciences and Education, which she dropped out after about two years. Gunbardhi then worked at the Petro Marko Theater in Vlora for a few years. When she finished working at the theater, Gunbardhi moved to Tirana , where she wanted to focus on her career as a solo artist.
Gunbardhi has been in a relationship with Dafi Derti since 2013. Their son was born on April 7, 2015.
Career
In 2001 she sang at the most important national competition Festivali i Këngës together with Kozma Dushi Gënje! Por thuaj të dua, however, failed to win. In 2005 Gunbardhi released her first studio album Plaku, Plaka . A year later she qualified again for the festival. With the interpretation Dua të jem , however , she did not make it to the final. In 2007 Gunbardhi released the debut single Je ti at the Top Fest , but dropped out again. The following year she took part in the Kënga Magjike competition, where she made it to the finals with her debut single Të doja shume and won the award for best ballad . In 2009 Gunbardhi recorded the song Pyet zemrën together with the Albanian singer Kelly . She won the award for the best interpretation.
At the beginning of January 2013, Gunbardhi released the song Të ka lali shpirt together with singer Mandi Nishtulla and rapper Dafi Derti . The song rose to number 2 in the Albanian charts. He brought the singer the national breakthrough and became known nationally and internationally. In August 2018, the song had over 400 million views on YouTube. Her debut album of the same name was released in the same year.
In 2014 a second version of the song Të ka lali shpirt was released under the name Pusni go pak by the two Bulgarian artists Desislava and Ustata in a duet with Mandi Nishtulla.
Two years later, Gunbardhi's first Turkish-language single Bebeğim ("Baby") was released with the Turkish singer and composer Serkan Kaya and Dafi Derti. Bebeğim is another version of the Albanian-language song E kam pas, which Dafi Derti published together with Mandi Nishtulla and the singer Sabina Dana in 2013.
In June 2017 the single I love you was released , on which Gunbardhi sings in a duet with Dafi Derti in English and Albanian.
