The Silvestertal is an orographically right side valley of the Pustertal in South Tyrol . Administratively it belongs entirely to the municipality of Toblach . It branches off to the north at the main town of the municipality and leads into the Villgraten mountains . It is drained by the Silvesterbach , which flows into the Rienza at Toblacher Feld . Still in Taleingangsbereich is at 1300- 1340  m altitude, the village elections . In the interior of the valley, the valley turns eastwards and then turns back northwards, where it ends under the Toblacher Pfannhorn ( 2663  m ) and the Markinkele ( 2545  m ).
