Silvia Helene Henke

Silvia Helene Henke (born November 27, 1964 in Krefeld ) is a German author .

Career

After training as an educator and industrial clerk , she worked in various jobs until she started working at CinemaxX Krefeld in 2001 . During this time she discovered her passion for writing and has since devoted herself to her favorite genre of vampire novels. She combines her passions for cinema and books and wants to bring cinema into the novel.

The result was the trilogy Das Rote Palais , a modern love story about the private detective Leyla Barth and the master vampire Rudger von Hallen, in a fictional Germany that is planning to legalize vampirism. In an action-packed narrative style, love stories, thrillers and characters from the old Germanic world of legends are intertwined.

The first part of the series, Die Totenwächterin , was published by Sieben Verlag in 2008 , followed by Der Gottvampir in 2009. In July 2010, the final part of the trilogy, Die Schattenpforte, was published . In 2011 her steampunk novel Electrica - Lord of the Light was published .

This was followed by two thrillers about Germany's youngest undertaker Zoe Lenz, death mask and human fisherman , at Droemer Knaur.

Henke is married, has two sons, and lives with her husband in Krefeld.
