Silvia Kempin

Silvia Kempin (* 27. January 1955 as Silvia Käwel ) is a former German hurdler , referring to the 100-meter distance had specialized.

In 1978 she won bronze over the 60 m hurdles at the European Athletics Indoor Championships in Milan and reached the intermediate run at the European Athletics Championships in Prague . At the Indoor European Championships in 1981 in Grenoble, she was fourth over 50 m hurdles. She was German champion six times (1975–1978, 1980, 1981) and once runner-up (1979). In the hall she was German champion four times (1974, 1975, 1978, 1981) and twice runner-up (1979, 1980) over 50 and 60 m hurdles.

Silvia Kempin started for the TuS 04 Leverkusen .
