Silvia Siefert

Silvia Siefert, b. Heinrich (born July 19, 1953 in Magdeburg ) is a former German handball player .

The 1.60 meter tall and 66 kilogram heavy Silvia Siefert played for SC Magdeburg . In Magdeburg she also attended the children's and youth sports school.

With the GDR selection , she won silver at the 1976 Olympic Games in Montreal , for which she was awarded the Patriotic Order of Merit in bronze. In 1975 she became world champion with this team, and she was already in the GDR squad at the 1973 World Cup.
