The land mine 29 was an anti-tank mine the Reichswehr and the Wehrmacht in World War II .
history
Tellermine 29 was introduced into the Reichswehr in 1929 as an anti-tank mine. By 1931, when production ended, there were around 61,000 stocks in the depots. It was used until the end of World War II. The successor was the Tellermine 35 introduced in 1937 .
functionality
The mine, which was stored concealed or openly, had three receiving channels in the lid for the push-pull detonator ZDZ 29. Three additional channels in the side and in the bottom of the mine were responsible for the recovery protection by relief detonators. A load of 125 kilograms was necessary to trigger the mine. But a setting of 45 kilograms was also possible.
