The Riegelmine 43 was an anti-tank mine of the Wehrmacht in World War II .
history
The bolt mine 43 was introduced into the Wehrmacht as an anti-tank mine in 1943. About three million pieces had been produced by the end of World War II. It was a replica of the Italian bolt mine B-2.
functionality
The mine was covered or placed openly and was triggered by pressing the pressure plate on the entire lid. A load of 200 kilograms on the sides and 400 kilograms in the middle was necessary to trigger the mine. The ZZ 35, ZuZZ 35 or ZZ 42 draft fuses were used as detonators. Two more draft fuses, each on one side of the mine, were responsible for safeguarding the recovery.
