Silvio Cadelo

Silvio Cadelo (born October 10, 1948 in Modena ) is an Italian comic artist .

After studying art, Cadelo worked as a set designer for the theater. At the end of the 1970s he discovered the medium of comics and was soon drawing for Linus magazine . In 1981 his first album, Skeol , was released, which was graphically inspired by the magazine Métal hurlant , especially Moebius . Alejandro Jodorowsky invited him to realize the story La Saga d'Alandor ( Eng .: The Saga of Alandor ) with him. However, after two albums, the two split up due to differences of opinion. However, Cadelo was now also popular in France. This was followed by publications in the magazine (à suivre) and further albums with imaginative and erotic content.
