Silvinit ( Russian Сильвинит ) was a Russian company with headquarters in Solikamsk in the Perm region . Silwinit was listed in the RTS share index. In Russia it mainly mined potash salt , from which, among other things, artificial fertilizers are obtained. The company was after the main potash derLagerstätten to Solikamsk and Berezniki , the sylvite , named.

Company history

Silwinit went back to the Soviet mining combine Sojuskali , from which it was privatized in 1992 at the same time as Uralkali . In 2011, Silwinit was taken over by Uralkali.
