Simon Armstrong

Simon Armstrong (born before 1996 in Llanelli ) is a Welsh actor .

Career

Simon Armstrong has been an actor since 1996. He was previously an English teacher in his home country of Wales . Armstrong made his first appearance in front of the camera in the series The Sherman Plays . Further TV appearances such as in Holby City and Inspector Barnaby followed. Armstrong has also appeared in films such as The Last Hangman and Killer Elite .

However, Armstrong only became known to a larger audience in 2012 when he took on the role of Qhorin Half-Hand , a border guard of the Night's Watch , in the second season of the fantasy series Game of Thrones . Armstrong has since played other recurring roles in Da Vinci's Demons , Coronation Street and The Interceptor .
