Simon Bisley (born March 4, 1962 ) is a British comic artist who gained great popularity in the 1990s due to his work on ABC Warriors, Lobo and Sláine .

Life

Bisley painted the Judge Dredd - Batman Crossover Judgment on Gotham for DC Comics , for which he received the Eisner Award in 1992 . He also worked on the script for heavy metal FAKK 2 .

Bisley works for the US comic and art magazine Heavy Metal. Its abbreviation is "Biz".

His very reliable representation in paintings, air brush and ink alike, were strongly influenced by artists such as Frank Frazetta and Bill Sienkiewicz . He was also inspired by the covers of rock CDs and records, as well as graffiti and traditional comic art.
