Simon Harris (2016)

Simon Harris (born October 17, 1986 in Greystones , Ireland ) is an Irish politician . He is a member of the Fine Gael and became Teachta Dála for the Wicklow constituency in 2011 . From 2014 to 2016 he was Minister of State in the Treasury in the government of Prime Minister Enda Kenny . In May 2016 he became Minister of Health in Enda Kenny's minority cabinet, succeeding Leo Varadkar .
