Simon Hochbrucker

Simon Hochbrucker (* 1699 in Donauwörth ; † 1750 ) was a German harpist and composer. While traveling through Europe (Vienna, Brussels) he made known the pedal harp developed by his father Jacob Hochbrucker . In 1729, Hochbrucker demonstrated the new pedal harp at the Imperial Court of Vienna, where he was able to arouse great admiration with his harp art.
