Simon Islip
Simon Islip (* in Islip near Oxford ; † April 26, 1366 in Mayfield , Sussex ) was Archbishop of Canterbury (1349-1366) and Lord Privy Seal (1347-1350). Islip is the uncle of William Whittlesey , who was Archbishop of Canterbury from 1368 to 1374.
