Simon Köpf (born March 25, 1987 in Schwäbisch Gmünd ) is a German soccer player who currently plays for TSV Essingen.

Career

In his youth, Köpf played for VfL Iggingen, 1. FC Normannia Gmünd and SSV Ulm 1846 . In the summer of 2006, the defender moved to the second team of VfR Aalen . From the 2007/08 season he was also used there in the first team. From February 2009 to 2013 he played for the Stuttgarter Kickers , with whom he was relegated from the 3rd football league at the end of the season. After three years in the Regionalliga Süd , Köpf was able to return to the third highest division with the Kickers.

In the 2013/14 season, Köpf will play for the national division TSV Essingen , because he wants to gain a foothold professionally and is starting a commercial apprenticeship with the club's sponsor.
