Simon Scuddamore

Simon Scuddamore (born April 15, 1956 in Westminster , London , England , † November 21, 1984 in London) was a British actor.

Life

The son of James and Pauline Scuddamore grew up with his parents and two brothers Nick and Matthew in London . In the early 1980s, Scuddamore began working as a supervisor at a school for disadvantaged children.

Acting career

In 1984 he was cast in the British horror slasher cult film "Slaughter High". In which he played the nerd Marty Rantzen, Scuddamore only shot on the weekends because of his job at the school for disadvantaged children. This authentic role gave him cult status with the film . He did not live to see the film premiere in 1986 due to his suicide.

death

On November 21, 1984, Scuddamore committed suicide by deliberately induced heroin overdose. So he died in London at the age of only 28.
