Simon Tolkien
Simon Mario Reul Tolkien (* 1959 in Oxford ) is a British writer.
Life
Simon Tolkien was born in 1959 to Christopher Tolkien , the youngest son of JRR Tolkien , and his first wife. He spent the first years of his life at the family home in Oxford. When he was five years old, his parents divorced. Tolkien now lived with his mother in Watlington , a nearby small village. He attended to Downside Abbey belonging boarding school Downside School and later studied at Trinity College of the University of Oxford . After graduation, Tolkien worked as a solicitor . In 1994 he switched from this job to that of a barrister .
In 2002 he published his first book, Final Witness . Final Witness has now been translated into eight languages.
Tolkien is married and has two children, a son and a daughter.
