Gerhard Bodenstein

Gerhard Bodenstein (born June 9, 1935 ) is a German university professor.

He completed agricultural and business studies in Göttingen and Kiel and became a Dr. rer. pole.

During his time as a student in Göttingen, he was actively involved in the art and culture program of the gallery in the Center, which opened in 1960. In 1971 he was one of the founding members of the Apex gallery and of the pro art eV supporting association. In 2001 he received the Medal of Honor from the City of Göttingen for this . For his voluntary cultural work, he was awarded the Order of Merit of the Federal Republic of Germany in March 2010.

Until 2000 he was Professor of Business Administration (Marketing and Consumption) at the Gerhard Mercator University in Duisburg . He sees his research focus in innovation management, environmental and consumer policy and sales channel management.
