Simone Fleischmann

Simone Fleischmann (born July 14, 1970 in Munich ) is a German teacher . She has been President of the Bavarian Teachers' Association since May 2015 .

Life

After completing her studies, she completed her preparatory service as a secondary school teacher in Feldkirchen. She then worked at the same school as a teacher and school psychologist until 2002. In 2003 she moved to the Anni-Pickert-Grund- und Mittelschule Poing as deputy principal, and in 2007 she was appointed head of the school.

Engagement in the BLLV

Simone Fleischmann has been a member of the Bavarian Teachers' Association (BLLV) since 1990. From 2002 to 2007 she headed the professional science department in the BLLV district association of Upper Bavaria, and from 2007 to 2015 the professional science department of the BLLV regional association. Since 2003 she has also been a member of the FSVO state board in various functions and offices. On May 15, 2015, Simone Fleischmann was elected President of the FSVO with a majority of 88.7 percent.

In the BLLV she is committed to making the problems in everyday school life clear to politics and the public. She fights for better support for students and the necessary framework conditions. To this end, she initiated surveys and projects that met with a great response in the media. At the same time, she campaigns for modern learning and teaching methods based on the latest research findings to become standard in schools. These include, among other things, competence-based learning and the method of intensive learning. From their point of view, teacher training must also be reformed.
