Simone Luedtke

Simone Luedtke (born June 2, 1971 in Munich ) is a German politician of the party Die Linke in Saxony . She has been the Lord Mayor of Borna since 2008 .

biography

Simone Luedtke was born on June 2, 1971 in Munich and grew up in Sankt Augustin . In 1996 she married Holger Luedtke. In 1997 the first daughter Nadja and 1998 daughter Nina were born. She completed an apprenticeship as a tax assistant. In addition to her professional activity, she later acquired degrees as a business economist (HWK) and accountant (HWK).

politics

Luedtke joined the PDS in 1992 and was elected to Borna City Council in 2001. Since 2007 she has been a member of the Saxon state executive committee of her party (Die Linke). In 2008 she took up her post as Lord Mayor of the large district town of Borna in the Leipzig district. For Saxony she was elected to the 14th Federal Assembly (2010). Since 2012 she has been a member of the federal executive committee of the DIE LINKE party and for this reason has resigned her mandate for the state executive. Also in 2012 she was elected chairwoman of the Municipal Political Forum Saxony eV.
