Simone Wiegand

Simone Wiegand (* 1969 ) is a German lawyer and judge at the Federal Court of Justice .

Live and act

After completing her legal training, Wiegand joined the higher judicial service of the state of Baden-Württemberg in 2000 and was initially employed at the Mannheim District Court and later at the Karlsruhe Regional Court . After the end of her trial reporting period, she was appointed judge at the regional court in Karlsruhe in May 2005. From July 2014 to March 2015 Wiegand was seconded to the Karlsruhe Higher Regional Court. After returning to the Karlsruhe Regional Court, she was finally promoted to judge at the Higher Regional Court in May 2017 and assigned to the Karlsruhe Higher Regional Court. In March 2019 Wiegand was elected judge at the Federal Court of Justice . On October 1, 2019, it was assigned to the VIII Civil Senate , which is primarily responsible for purchase, leasing and residential rental law .
