The Simplyscience Foundation (spelling "SimplyScience Foundation") is a Swiss foundation with the aim of arousing interest in science and technology in children and young people and promoting social acceptance of the natural sciences. To this end, it operates the national website Simplyscience.ch in German and French and supports projects that are intended to give children and young people experimental and interactive access to scientific topics.
The foundation went online in October 2008, and in October 2010 the project was formally transferred to the Simplyscience Foundation. It is financially supported by the Swiss Science Industries Association , on whose idea it goes back.
The Simplyscience Foundation received start-up funding for the translation of the website from the Federal Commission for Technology and Innovation (KTI). Your projects are also supported by the cantons. It works with educational institutions of every level as well as with partners from industry, other foundations such as Schweizer Jugend forscht , the Swiss Academy of Technical Sciences (SATW) and the Swiss Academy of Natural Sciences (SCNAT) . People from industry and universities are represented on the Board of Trustees.
