The Sinan Pasha Mosque ( Arabic جامع سنان باشا Jami 'Sinan Bascha ) is a historic mosque from the Ottoman era on Bab-al-Jabiya Street in the Syrian capital Damascus .

The Sinan Pascha Mosque was built in 1590 by Koca Sinan Pascha , who was several times Grand Vizier of the Ottoman Empire and Governor of Damascus. At the same time as the mosque, he had a madrasah and a fountain built. Originally the mosque was also adjacent to a bath, a bakery and shops. The fountain was renovated in 1893 according to an inscription.

The Sinan Pasha Mosque has a large dome in the center and seven smaller domes on the rectangular open prayer hall. The building was constructed from alternating light and dark stone. In the middle of the prayer hall is the octagonal fountain, which is fed with water from the Barada River. The cylindrical minaret with its green and blue ceramics is unique in Damascus. It has a scissors (balcony) and, like the mosque entrance, is decorated with muqarnas . The Ivan is on the northwest corner of the prayer hall.
