The Sind armor consists of steel , iron and brass . It consists of a helmet , a jacket-like breastplate with long sleeves, gloves, pants and shoes. All armor parts are made of the same materials and in the same design. Basically, the armor consists of chain armor in which plates of steel are incorporated at regular intervals. These plates are rectangular, of various lengths and widths, and are set in a brass rim. They are connected to the chain mail by connecting the chain links to the individual plates. The shoes are made in the same construction and are padded with leather or fabric. The breastplate was closed with a lacing made of fabric or leather on the chest. This armor was mainly used by mounted warriors . Various helmets such as the Kulah-Zirah , the Kulah Khud or the Sindh helmet were worn as armor . With this armor, the face is often covered with chain armor with cutouts for eyes. The individual plates of the armor are usually decorated with ornate drifting or gold-plated .
