Sindy Rüegger (born June 14, 1998 ) is a Swiss floorball player . She is under contract with the National League A representative UHC Kloten-Dietlikon Jets .
Career
society
Beginnings
Rüegger began her career with Baracudas Romanshorn. The player later switched from Romanshorn to the Red Lions from Frauenfeld . In 2014, the Thurgau native switched to the offspring of the Swiss top team UHC Dietlikon .
UHC Dietlikon
For the 2015/16 season, the then only 16-year-old was in the first team of the Dietlikerinnen. For the 2016/17 season she was finally accepted into the Zurich squad. In her first full season she was able to celebrate the cup victory with Dietlikon. Seven seconds before the end of the game she scored the Empty-Netter to make it 5-0.
UHC Kloten-Dietlikon Jets
On May 14th, UHC Kloten-Dietlikon Jets announced that Rüegger had extended their contract.
National team
In 2014 Rüegger made her debut for the Swiss U19 national team . So far, she has participated in two events of the Euro Floorball Tour and a U19 World Championship. In 2016 she took third place with Switzerland at the World Cup.
