The Singer 17.9 (also Singer Silent Six ) was an upper middle class car that Singer only built in 1934 and added to the middle class model 11 .

The car had a six-cylinder in - line engine with a displacement of 2160 cm³ (bore × stroke = 69.5 mm × 95 mm). Like almost all singers of the time, the engine had an overhead camshaft . The car reached a top speed of 104 km / h.

The Silent Six was available as a sedan.

In the year of publication, the 17.9 was discontinued without a successor.
