Sinn Yang (* 1982 in Würzburg ) is a classical violinist and winner of the City of Würzburg's cultural sponsorship award.

Live and act

Sinn Yang, who comes from a Korean family, received her training from Max Speermann at the University of Music in Würzburg and from the University of Music Lübeck with Thomas Brandis , where she graduated in 2009 in the soloist class. She was concertmaster at the Meiningen, Darmstadt and Nuremberg State Theaters as well as at the Deutsche Oper Berlin . In the 2014/15 and 2015/16 seasons she was employed as deputy concertmaster of the Lucerne Symphony Orchestra . Sinn Yang currently plays in the Leipzig Gewandhaus Orchestra.

Since 2016, Sinn Yang has also been teaching as a lecturer at the University of Music in Würzburg.

Appearances

As a soloist, Sinn Yang has played with the German Symphony Orchestra Berlin, the Nuremberg Philharmonic , the Carl Philipp Emanuel Bach Chamber Orchestra and the South West German Chamber Orchestra.

In the duo "ViA!" With Harald Oeler (classical accordion), Sinn Yang played the program "8 Jahreszeiten" at festivals such as "Heidelberger Frühling" and "Opere" in Bracciano / Italy, as well as at concerts in Helsinki and Daejeun / South Korea.
