Sinotrans is the largest Chinese logistics company. Until 2009, it was known as the China National Foreign Trade Transportation Corporation .
Sinotrans consists of three subsidiaries, all of which are listed on the stock exchange: Sinotrans Air Transportation Development (founded in 1999), Sinotrans Limited (founded in 2002) and Sinotrans Shipping (founded in 2003). Sinotrans has been operating the DHL-Sinotrans joint venture with DHL since 1986 .
In 2009 Sinotrans merged with the Changjiang National Shipping Group (CSC) to form the Sinotrans & CSC Group.
