Siri Gåsemyr Staalesen (born June 30, 1973 ) is a Norwegian politician of the social democratic Arbeiderpartiet (Ap). She has been a member of the Storting since 2017 .

Life

Staalesen is a historian. She worked in the area of ​​urban development for the municipality of Oslo and the Miljøverndepartementet , i.e. the Norwegian Ministry of the Environment. She also worked for a time as the party secretary of the Arbeiderpartiet in Oslo.

In the 2009 general election , she missed entry into the Norwegian national parliament in Storting . She finally received a mandate for the first time in the 2017 election . There she represents the Oslo constituency and she became a member of the local and administrative committee.
