Siri Svegler (born April 15, 1980 in Gothenburg ) is a Swedish actress , singer and musician . In 2009 she released her first album Silent Viewer . In 2013, Lost & Found followed , which was awarded as the best English-language album at the 31st German Rock and Pop Prize .

Life

Svegler was born and raised in Gothenburg, Sweden. In 2000 she moved to London where she attended the Arts Educational School. In 2004 Svegler came to film and played Polydora in Wolfgang Petersen's film Troy . In 2007 she moved to Berlin and in 2009 was honored by the Volkswagen Sound Foundation as a young artist in the “Pop” category.

Music career

After projects with the jazz musician Christian Vaughan and as the lead singer of the Guido Sol group in London, Svegler released her first solo album in 2009 with the title Silent Viewer on the Compost label. The first single is Their Wine . Svegler is also featured as a feat. Artist very successful and works with international DJs such as Moonbootica , DJ Shahrokh and Johnwaynes. The single The One (Johnwaynes feat. Siri Svegler) was Top 1 on MTV Portugal for weeks. Svegler wrote the title song Beautiful Losers for the movie Gangsterläufer (2011). Paperdoll Dress and Coming up Rosés are included on the soundtrack to the German film Saphirblau . In 2013 she released her second album Lost & Found . In 2013 it was named the best English-language album of the year at the 31st German Rock and Pop Prize.
