Sirvan Khosravi ( Persian سیروان خسروی; * 26. July 1982 in Tehran ) is an Iranian pop singer , musician , composer , arranger and manager . He is the older brother of Xaniar Khosravi , who is also a pop and rap singer.

Life

Sirvan Khosravi was born in Tehran and is a Kurd . He started playing keyboard with Evy Junio ​​when he was eleven. When he saw The Lion King he became very interested in Elton John's music.

At the age of 16 he began to learn the basics of keyboard playing and rock music under the supervision of Kave Yaghmayi. After a while, he and four of his friends formed an underground band and started playing tracks from famous bands like The Beatles, Pink Floyd, Dire Straits and The Police. He split from the band after a year. Sirvan Khosravi took part in two concerts by Kave Yaghmayi as a keyboardist in 2000 and 2001. After that he was never on stage again as a keyboardist.

The most important reason for starting a music career was to work with Kave Yaghmayi on the recordings for the Matarsak album .

Since 2000, Sirvan has participated in many albums by various singers as a singer, unit manager, arranger and musician. After meeting Omid Athari Nejad, he produced his first own album, To Khial Kardi Beri, from 2001 onwards . It was released in 2005 after approval by the Iranian Ministry of Culture.
