Baga Sitemu (ISO 639-3: e.g. also baka, rio pongo baga, sitemuú, stem baga and tchitem) is a West Atlantic language spoken by 4,000 people in the Guinean regions of Boké and Boffa , on the southern bank of the Nunez River .

The language belongs to the immediate group of Mel languages.

The language is related to the Landoma [ldm] of the Temne languages ​​[tem] as well as the Temnian language itself and is part of the Baga languages.
