Sittenbach is located about two kilometers northeast of Odelzhausen on the northern edge of the Glonn Valley.

history

The formerly independent municipality of Sittenbach was incorporated into the municipality of Odelzhausen on January 1, 1976 with the district Sixtnitgern .

Attractions

St. Laurentius Church

• Catholic parish church St. Laurentius: 1464, remodeled around 1760; Rococo church with a nave pulpit
• Geiselwies Chapel : early 19th century, remodeled in 1966
• Parish hall: The Catholic clubhouse, built in 1910, impresses with its design with a hipped roof, bay windows and gables. The Heimatverein Sittenbach has been trying to preserve the parish hall for years.
