Sixtnitgern
The village Sixtnitgern is a hamlet in the district Sittenbach the town of Odelzhausen in Upper Bavarian district of Dachau .
history
The place was probably founded as a forest workers colony in the 19th century . The Bavarian premiere recorded there under the name Sixtergern around 1810 a typical street village with 16 thirty-second courtyards or Gütl (common or mere Sölde) without their own farmland ( without corridor ). The name entry on the card was difficult to read and was corrected on Sixtengern around 1860 . It was not until later that today's spelling Sixtnitgern became established.
The village well there was financed by King Ludwig II in 1873 . The village inn changed hands in 1904 and it was sold to the ancestors of the current operator.
On January 1, 1931 Sixtnitgern was incorporated into Sittenbach , which in turn came to Odelzhausen on January 1, 1976. In the localities directory of 1925, the former rural community is recorded with an area of 145.96 hectares , 29 residential buildings and 122 inhabitants. In the official gazette of 1987 the village has 169 inhabitants in 48 buildings or 62 apartments.
