Sitting couple

The sculpture Seated Couple is located in the Neustadt district of Bremen in the green space on Schulstrasse and Neustadtscontrescarpe, near Leibnizplatz, which is part of the Neustadt Wallanlagen . It is included in the list of monuments and statues of the city of Bremen .

The two seated people in the classic modern style were created in 1973 in bronze based on a design by the sculptor Alice Peters-Ohsam . From her come in Bremen on schoolyards and squares etc. a. Die Sinnende (1960) in Vegesack , 2 boys in conversation (1963) in the eastern suburb , seated boy (1964) in Hemelingen , a fountain wall with water features (1974) in Burglesum , animal sculptures such as rooster , hippopotamus , cranes , fox and heron ( 1964 to 1970).
