Siwe-Palar-Khuppak

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Siwe-Palar-Khuppak was an Elamite ruler who carried the title of sukkalmah in his day .

Siwe-Palar-Khuppak also bore the title sukkal von Susa and ruled around 1775 BC. BC (the absolute chronological order depends on the absolute chronological order of Hammurabi ) and was a contemporary of the Hammurabi of Babylon .

He is referred to as the "sister son" of Shiruktuh . Siwe-Palar-Khuppak is mentioned several times in the Mari archives as a recipient and giver of gifts. The Mari texts also mention military conflicts between Hammurabi and a ruler of Elam. Because of the temporal proximity, it is probably Siwe-Palar-Khuppak. His General Kunnam is well documented in various letters.

Siwe-Palar-Khuppak is known from a brick from Tal-i Malyan , whereupon it is mentioned that he built a temple.
