Secure websites and content management systems (SIWECOS) is a project of the Association of the Internet Industry eco eV in cooperation with the Ruhr University Bochum (chair for network and data security) and the partners CMS Garden and Hackmanit GmbH. The project helps small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) to identify and fix security gaps on their websites and is funded by the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWI). The project started in mid-2017. The project lasts from September 2016 to October 2018.

SIWECOS is part of the BMWI's "IT Security in Business" initiative and primarily supports small and medium-sized companies in the secure use of ICT systems . Together with IT security experts from science, business and administration, a basis is to be created to increase awareness in the digital economy with regard to IT security in medium-sized companies.
