Skålebrehalsen (Norwegian for repulsion glacier neck ) is a high and icy terrace in Queen Maud Land, East Antarctica . It is located in the Mühlig-Hofmann Mountains on the southern flank of Skålebreen .
Norwegian cartographers, who also named them, mapped them on the basis of surveys and aerial photographs of the Third Norwegian Antarctic Expedition (1956–1960).
