Runddysse of Lundum
The Runddysse of Lundum (also called Gammelmand, Skanhøj or Julianelyst) is located northwest of Lundum, southwest of Skanderborg in Jutland in Denmark . The complex was built between 3500 and 2800 BC. BC as a megalithic system of the funnel beaker culture (TBK).
A free-standing chamber of the Gammelmand ( German old man ) stands on the round hill called Skanhøj. The chamber of the Urdolmen consists of two lateral supporting stones, the end stone in the north and a threshold stone in the south. The side stones and the end stone are inclined slightly inwards. The chamber is covered with a capstone, which is smooth on the underside and domed-like on the top and has a slight crack in the middle. The megalithic complex is about 1.4 m high.
