Skart Island is an island about 500 m long west of the Antarctic Peninsula . It is the largest and highest of the Mikkelsen Islands southwest of Adelaide Island and is one of the breeding grounds for the blue-eyed shag .

The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee named it in 2018. Skart is a common name on the Orkney Islands for a shit .
