Skaruliai is a district of Jonava , an industrial area on the left bank of the Neris near AB Achema . There is the Roman Catholic Church of St. Anna (built 1622), next to it is a cemetery. AB Jonavos montuotojas and UAB Taurosta are based in the southern part of Skaruliai .

history

In 1522 Lipnikai and the Lipnikai Manor were mentioned. The manor belonged to the Skorulskiai , so the place was called Skaruliai in 1592 . In the middle of the 18th century the Kosakovskiai bought the Skaruliai manor. Then the town of Jonava was built on the other bank of the Neris .

In 1945 there was a 7-year and later an 8-year school.

In 1970 Skaruliai had 961 inhabitants.
