The Großglockner Heiligenblut ski area is a ski area in the Hohe Tauern in Heiligenblut in Carinthia .

location

The ski area is located in the Goldberg Group, southeast of the Großglockner , Austria's highest mountain, and south of the Hocharn . It can be reached from the valley stations in Heiligenblut at the end of the Großglocknerstraße Heiligenblut – Dölsach (B 107) and the southern tollbooth of the Großglockner High Alpine Road .

It extends from Heiligenblut over the southern slope of the Schareck  ( 2606  m above sea level , east of Glocknerstraße), and via Fallbichl on Glocknerstraße to Wallackhaus and Viehbichl  ( 2404  m above sea level ), as well as on the western slope of the Gjaidtroghöhe  ( 2988  m above sea level ) o. A. ).

Ski Area

The ski includes the mountain railway Heiligenblut - Schareck (cableway Rossenbach to the central station and Schareck ), the panoramic web Grossglockner (cableway Fallbichl), which surface lifts Seppenalm and Tauernberg on Schareck, the T-bar Viehbühel , the tunnel liner Fleissalm , and the chairlift Fleiss web and the surface lifts high Fleiss (to the highest point of the ski area at 2902  m below the Gjaidtroghöhe) and Ederfeld . There are two small practice tugs in the valley.

It is operated by Grossglockner Bergbahnen Touristik  GmbH and belongs to the Schröcksnadel group .
