Skjærsjøen is a regulated lake in the Nordmarka area in Oslo , Norway . It is located at an altitude of 258 meters and covers an area of ​​0.7 km². A drain is used to transfer water over the Skjærsjøelva River to Lake Maridalsvannet . The Hammeren power plant also pumps out water. The water level has been regulated by the Skjærsjødammen dam since 1890.
