Viktoras Valentukevičius

Viktoras Valentukevičius (born October 17, 1954 in Alytus ) is a Lithuanian manager and former politician , Vice Minister , Mayor of the municipality of Alytus .

Life

After graduating from secondary school (now Adolfas Ramanauskas Vanagas School) Alytus, he completed his degree in economics at the Faculty of Economics at Vilniaus universitetas . From November 2, 1989 to June 1990, he was Mayor of Alytus . From 1995 to 1996 he was secretary at the Lithuanian Ministry of Energy . He was then Deputy Minister of Energy from 1994 to 1996 and Deputy Minister of Economy of Lithuania from 1996 to 2000 , Deputy of Vincas Babilius . From June 28, 2002 he headed the Lithuanian gas supplier AB Lietuvos dujos (his predecessor was Vidmantas Čepukonis ). From 2008 he was President of the Lithuanian Gas Industry Association ( Lietuvos dujų asociacija ).

He was a member of the CPSU .

Viktoras Valentukevičius is married. His wife is Birutė Valentukevičienė.
