The Scua Terrace ( English for Skua Terrace ) is a terrace on Signy Island in the archipelago of the South Orkney Islands . It extends north-south from the area around the Spindrift Rocks to the area around Express Cove .
The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee named it in 1991 after the large number of breeding pairs of the Sub-Antarctic kuas ( Stercorarius antarcticus ) found here.
