Sculpture bird flight
The Vogelflug sculpture is located in Cuxhaven near the Cuxhaven radar tower and the old love .
The sculpture Vogelflug from 2002 comes from the Hadelner sculptor Frijo Müller-Belecke and was a gift from the Rotary Club Cuxhaven to the city on his 50th birthday.
The round, sea air-resistant stainless steel object is mounted on eight rods.
Müller-Belecke interpreted: "He wanted to convey the impression of 'free flight in front of the big sky' with his presentation". The sculpture is intended to convey flying and freedom in bird flight .
The Carsten-Niebuhr sculpture from 2004 in Cuxhaven- Lüdingworth was also made by Müller-Belecke .
