Sculpture bank
Coordinates: 53 ° 6 ′ 12 ″ N , 8 ° 26 ′ 56.1 ″ E The Sculpture Shore is a joint project of the municipality of Hude in the Lower Saxony district of Oldenburg and the artist Wolf E. Schultz, who lives in Hude.
The open-air permanent exhibition was opened on May 31, 1992 and is 1.4 hectares in size. The sculpture bank is a freely accessible natural compensation area of the community and is located on Vielstedter Kirchweg in Hude.
There are around 40 large sculptures on the meadow by the Huder Bach . The materials of the figurative and abstract permanent loans are made of steel , stone and wood . In addition to its function as an excursion destination in the Wildeshauser Geest for hikers and cyclists, the sculpture bank serves as a presentation area for the artist. In addition to a paved path that leads along the sculpture bank, there are small trails leading to the artist's works.
