Skunk Funk was a 1994 by DJ exel. Pauly and the rappers Reimagent , Knauf Kinski and Kerem founded a German hip-hop group.

history

The guys from Skunk Funk come from Hamburg-Osdorf and founded the band in 1994. In the first few years they released several tapes, remixes and were also to be found on some samplers. In 1998, Kerem left the band for professional reasons. In 2001 they released their first vinyl- maxi elbow tactic. The accompanying video was even shown quite often on German music television. In the same year, Skunk Funk, as a reinforcement of the band Fettes Brot , released the single Fast 30 under the name Schlechtwetterfront and then went on tour through Germany, Austria and Switzerland for two months as their support . During this time the band played around 40 gigs in front of full houses. In September 2004 they released the single So and not different . The album that goes with it, Proposing and Submitting , was never officially released, only in 2006, a year after its dissolution, it was made available as a free download on Myspace . In 2005 the band Skunk Funk split up to pursue their solo projects. Pauly is the DJ of Fettes Brot and Knauf Kinski and the Reimagent produce beats as Aburz City.
