Oliver Tietgen

Oliver Tietgen (* 1974) is a German film producer and film director .

Life

Tietgen studied at the Hanseatic Academy for Marketing and Media in Hamburg and is a German film producer and director . His first episode film ABCs of Superheroes premiered at the Fantasy Filmfest in 2015 and was named "Best Fun Feature" by the Convention Weekend Of Horrors that same year . His film was part of the official selection of the prestigious Brussels International Fantastic Film Festival 2016.

Before that, Tietgen was a musician in the Hamburg hip-hop band Skunk Funk together with DJ exel. Pauly worked. There is still close cooperation with members of the band Fettes Brot , with whom the formation released the title Fast 30 in 2001 .

Later, as the owner of the film production company Boesewicht Film , Tietgen shot not only short films and advertising films, but also music videos. In 2016 he started the Hamburg science fiction film project Violent Starr with Matti Schindehütte , for which Tietgen is also responsible for the script and direction .
