Sky Ace TIGA
The Sky Ace TIGA is a solar vehicle from Ashiya University, Japan . The vehicle holds the land speed record for solar vehicles.
In 2004 it reached 150 km / h in Greece and 165 km / h in Taiwan on September 19, 2006 .

built. The original design has been improved several times, especially the electric motor , battery and solar panels. Every year the team and the drivers took part in the Dream Cup Solar Race-Suzuka . It won first place in 2000, 2002 and 2003. In 2001 it took part in the World Solar Challenge .
